Artist Statement

"For me, painting is life itself.

Each time I  hold my favorite brush or pallet knife to paint, I feel most alive. 

Beautiful images and inspiring ideas pass through my mind,

strong emotions run through my body, and enormous energy enter me

from the water, the land, and the sky, shaking my soul. 

I have no choice but paint --- paint with burst energy,

paint to express my emotions,

paint to describe the impression I received from this world. 

It is my hope that through my paintings I share with you

the impression I received, the emotions I experienced, and

the ideas that come to me while I am painting.

Most time I feel I cannot paint fast enough to capture

the amazing feelings running through me. 

I hope you can feel the energy, impression and emotions when you look at my paintings,

each and every time, no matter you stay with them for hours or a few seconds.
